JACOBS, Jason Russell –   It is with heavy, heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear son Jason at the age of 32.

Beloved son of Patrick and Suzanne Jacobs.

Loving brother of Ryan (Valerie), Lindsay (1985), Paul (Tanis) and Nichole (Kyle). He will be greatly missed by his great- niece Tessa and great-nephew Kaiden, Aunty Marie, Uncle Jim, Aunty Adelaide (Uncle Frank), Aunty Edie and Aunty Anne, as well as his many cousins.

Jason was very artistic and intelligent and loved nothing more than fishing and being at Nana’s cottage.

He was a compassionate person who loved his family very much, but sadly suffered from mental illness from the age of 12. Daily struggles finally took their toll on what was once a happy, caring soul. We love you so much Jason and will miss you terribly.

Family and friends may visit at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road, Scarborough, on Wednesday, October 14th from 4 – 8 p.m.

Funeral service on Thursday, October 15th at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with a reception to follow.

Donations in Jason’s memory can be made to CAMH, the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
