POCTOR, Jean Marie – Passed peacefully at Grey Gables on December 26, 2015 in her 92nd year at her favourite time of year.

On her last day, Jean enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner with her beloved niece Wanda.

Cherished sister of Art Proctor and Eleanor Haayen.

Admired and loved by her many nieces and nephews Valerie(David), Ann(Peter), MaryEllen(Roger), Elizabeth(Tim), Wanda and her son Julian, Stephen(Jenny), Pam, Joanne, Morlene, Tom, Pat, Lori and Alex.

She will be deeply missed by many great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents Ernest and Esther, brother George, sister-in-law Evelyn, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Mary, nephews Leonard and Bob and great nephew James.

Jean was extremely generous, well-loved and kind. She was a fixture in the Eugenia community and was often referred to as ‘the old lady in the chair’.

She began working at the Bank of Commerce in Flesherton at the age of 17, continued there for over 40 years and is still fondly remembered by many customers.

A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton, on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 1-4pm. A brief time of memories will be shared at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
