YOUNG, Jean – Devoted mother and grandmother Jean Young died peacefully on 29 December 2015, aged 79.

Jean was, above all, warm and kind; primarily, she lived to nurture her family. Feisty, ironic and fun, she was a loyal friend, a dedicated volunteer, an accomplished cook, gardener and traveller.

Survived by her cousin Joy; daughters Melissa and Kendal; son-in-law Erik; grandchildren Zachary, Sarah, Max, Annie, Bella and Mia; great-grandchildren Kylie, Mariah, Ciara Grace and George.
