MAXWELL, Jeannette Lorraine Maxwell

MAXWELL, Jeannette Lorraine  –  Our dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Jeannette (nee LeBlanc) Maxwell, passed away peacefully, on June 30, 2023, in her 100th year.

We will miss her always, but take comfort knowing that she has at last been reunited with the great love of her life, Ernie Maxwell, who predeceased her in 2013.

Jeannette was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on April 29, 1924, to Sylvaire and Amanda LeBlanc; and she was the last of her siblings, Oscar, Ted and Margaret.

She lived a long and happy life, filled with family, friends and travel. This past year has been a struggle for her, after such an independent, fulfilling life. All of us, her children, Bill (Beth), Karen (Jay), Susan (Kim); her grandchildren, Sean (Theresa), Meredith (David), Craig (Nadine), Sharilyn (Kevin), Laurel (Richy) Neil and Jeff; and her great-grandchildren, Lucy, Pippa, Francie, Declan, Jacob, Zachary, Maci and Julian, are thankful that she is at peace now.

She will remain a beloved memory for all of us.

As no services are planned at this time, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, for their exceptional care of Jeannette in her final days, would be appreciated.
