HIGHET, Jeannie Stella  –  With her family by her side throughout, Jeannie peacefully passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 90 years.

Beloved wife of the late Harry Highet (2008.)

Sister of (the late) Minnie Kennedy (2005, of Sifton, MB).

Loving mother of her daughter, Kelly-Ann Highet (Ron Hughes).

Loving nana of Taylor and Mitchell Balodis. Special aunt to Karen Peach (Fred), Debbie Dee (the late Peter) and their families.

Dear aunt to Malcolm Kennedy (the late Eileen, Stony Pain, AB) and John Rae Kennedy (Cheryl) and their families (Sifton, MB). Jeannie was a warm, gentle and funny lady, loved by many. Jeannie enjoyed many things, but most of all, she loved to be surround by her family.

Many thanks to the health care providers at Cedarvale Lodge Retirement Living in Kesiwck who helped keep Jeannie comfortable.

At Mom’s request, cremation has taken place.

There will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations may be made to the Cardiac Clinic at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario.
