O’NEILL, Jeffrey J. O’Neill  –  Died peacefully, in Renfrew on June 20, 2023, after a long illness.

He was 67 years old. Jeff grew up in Ottawa, but after graduating from university, Jeff and his wife, Joanne, decided to move their growing family, first to Peterborough, then Toronto, and then across the U.S. border and back (several times).

Jeff spent eighteen years working at Quaker Oats, most prominently as a Vice President of sales.

He also worked in executive leadership at Pepsi Canada, Priszm Income Fund, and the Einstein Brothers Bagels chain.

But, no matter how far his career took him, Jeff’s North Star always pointed him back to the family cottage in Calabogie, where he loved to spend summer days with their three kids, water skiing, visiting friends and working the barbecue at lunch time.

Visitation will be at Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mass in Memory at Most Precious Blood Church, 504 Mill St., Calabogie, on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
