GARDINER, Jill M.  –  It is with great sadness the family announces Jill’s peaceful passing, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in her sleep while at her residence in Oakville, at the age of 74.

Reunited with her beloved sons, Daryl and Ashley.

Loving wife of 56 years to Christopher.

Caring mother to Paul and his wife, Kelly.

Cherished grandmother to Sarah and her husband, Jake, Brenden, Reese, Brycen, and Jaxsen.

Proud great-grandmother to Sienna. Survived by her sister, Florence (the late Bernard); and predeceased by her sister, Margaret.

Jill will be dearly missed by her entire extended family and all those who knew her. Visitation to be held at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Road in Etobicoke (416-679-1803), on Wednesday, March 27th, from 4-8 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 28th, at 12:00 noon, in the Glendale Funeral Home Chapel. As per Jill’s wishes, cremation will be held at a later date.

If desired, donations in memory of Jill made to the SickKids Foundation, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
