YEO, Joan Frances (née O’Loughlin) Yeo

YEO, Joan Frances Yeo (née O’Loughlin)  –  Passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Mount Hope Long Term Care in London, Ontario, in her 95th years.

Mum was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Wilfred Donald Yeo (2008); her son, John Francis Yeo (2011); and older brother, Billy O’Loughlin in the late 1930s.

Beloved mother of William, Barbara (Rick Hayman), Jane (Joseph Jazbec).

Loving nana to Kyle, Colin and Emily; and great-nana to Alex.

Mum was born to Wilfred and Alice O’Loughlin on July 7, 1929. She met dad at a CWL dance and they were married in September of 1951.

They resided in Cooksville (now Mississauga), where they enjoyed their time on Arbordale Drive, then in Wilmot Creek (Bowmanville), and moved to London in 1995, where they remained until their deaths.

Cremation has taken place, interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mississauga, at a later date.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Mount Hope for their kindness and care shown to Joan. Donations to the Humane Society London & Middlesex or to Mission Services of London would be appreciated.
