JOCQUES, Wendy Elizabeth Jocques

January 17, 1952 - March 8, 2026

Passed away on March 8, 2026 at Lisaard House in Cambridge, ON at the age of 74.

Beloved wife and soul mate of Mo Carey.

Loving step-mother of Kaley Carey (Jamie), Matt Carey (Alycia), and her best friend, her golden doodle Shea!

Will be greatly missed by her cousins Nancy McPhail, Ruth Anne Thiessen, Kathy McMenemy, the extended Carey family, and all her close friends from the school board.

Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Sheila Jocques.

Wendy worked for the Waterloo Region District School Board as a Budget Manager for nearly 50 years. She was known for her dedication and the care she showed to her work and community. Wendy was a loving and kind person. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and taking golf cart rides by the water.

Special thanks to the Grand River Cancer Center and the team at Lisaard House- both staff and volunteers.

As per Wendy’s wishes, there will be no service, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
