de VOGEL, Johan (Joe) Pieter   –  It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joe on July 16, 2023, at the age of 69, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Joe was proud to have served for three decades with Toronto Police Service, and the Governor General’s Horse Guards.

Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Patricia; his children, James (Rebecca), Amanda (Jake), Virginia (Michael) and Charlene (William); and grandchildren, Madelyn, Travis, James, Annie, Deklan, Theodore and Paige.

He will be dearly missed by sister-in-law, Lisa (Leo); niece, Michelle (Vincent); and nephews, Kevin and Jase (Kelly).

Services will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville. Visitation on Tuesday, July 25th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., and funeral service on Wednesday, July 26th starting at 1:00 p.m.
