ARCHIBALD, John Alexander – Major Ret’d RCAF WWII Veteran (February 2, 1925 – September 29, 2015)

After a long and very full life John has passed on to join his dear wife Peggy. He will be missed by his three children and their spouses, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and the many friends he has made over the years.

Thank you to the staff of Beacon Heights residence, the CCAC and VAC for all their help and support. We also thank the caring staff at the Montfort Hospital for their compassion in his last days.

Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday October 15th from 10 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or the Canadian Red Cross in his memory would be appreciated.
