KANE, John Kane – Obituary

KANE, John –   Peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital in the loving care of his family on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in his 91st year.

John, dearly loved husband of the late Ivy (Smyth) Kane. Cherished father of Angela (Richard) Standen and Valerie (Frank) Carpino. Proud and loving Grandad of Patrick, Vanessa, Jessica and John.

Survived by his brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Mary Smyth. Treasured uncle of Caroline (Michael) Kerr and Joseph (Lesley) Smyth and their sons Alexander and Matthew.

John will be fondly remembered by his extended family members, friends and neighbours.

Visiting will be held at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, 794 Kingston Rd. (west of Victoria Park Ave.), on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at noon.
