MILLER, John  –  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Gordon Miller at the age of 84.

He passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Sylvia, and his daughters, Dienne, Jennifer and Heather.

He will also be greatly missed by many friends and family, including his brother, Rob, his nephew, Andrew, and his brother-in-law, Rainer.

John had a contagious smile and a quick sense of humour that brought many laughs to his family and friends.

He loved his family deeply and he will be remembered for his giving nature. His positive outlook helped his family get through difficult times.

Thank you to the staff at Sunnybrook for all of John’s care, and especially to Dr. Matthew Cheung and John Covello, and the nurses at the Dialysis Management Clinic in Markham.

As per John’s request, he has been cremated. At this time, donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
