DULONG, John Otis Dulong Obituary

DULONG, John Otis – Passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 92.

Beloved husband of Jane (Aggie). Cherished father of Sharon(John), Marilyn, Stephen, Philip (Michelle) and Susan. Loving Grandpa of Sydney, Isaac, Ryley, Nicole, Ashley, Hayden, Nathalie, Andre, Monique, Xavier, Luca and Gemma.

John was born on December 19th, 1922 in Tusket, Nova Scotia. He was a  faithful 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. John was employed for many years at the St. Lawrence Seaway. He was an avid tennis player, who loved to fish and win at cards.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Rammohan and all the staff at the St. Catharines Hospital, the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital and the Henley House for all their care and compassion.

The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Ontario on Monday, October 5th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m.  Vigil Prayers will take place on Monday at 3:30p.m. in the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Alexandria on Tuesday, October 6th at 11a.m. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Start Me Up Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
