PEARCE, John French  –  Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Norfolk Manor on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at the age of 100. 

Beloved husband and best friend of 71 years to Myra (nee Wilson). 

Loved father of Carol (Malcolm) McAlister and Lynda (William) Henry.

Loving grandfather of Diane (Rob) Boyd, Barbra (Eric) Malone, Calen Henry (Heather Finlayson) and Connor Henry. Great grandfather of Kaleigh, Abigail, Robyn and Ben Boyd, Ethan, Megan and Marcus Malone, and Oliver Henry. 

Dear brother of Betty Hayler. Predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Bowen, Ida Dewey, Hilda Smith, Reginald Pearce, Gladys Hudgell, Ruby Baker, Lillian Chat and Norah Chat. 

A celebration of Johns life will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 161 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
