JOHNSON, Robert John Johnson

A Loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend.

After a very brief illness, Bob passed away peacefully at home in North Vancouver at the age of 96, surrounded by his family, on November 17.

Bob was a quiet, kind and humble man who cherished spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed gardening, curling, golfing, going for coffee with the boys at McDonald’s, watching St. Patrick’s Cathedral’s online mass every Sunday and watching black and white movies and sports on television.

He was born in Montreal on October 19, 1929, to the late Robert James Johnson and Beatrice Greevy.

Devoted husband and best friend for over 64 years to Andrea (née Leigh). Loving and doting father of Elizabeth and Robert. Supportive and welcoming father-in-law of Graham and Shannon. Caring and kind-hearted grandpa of Laura (Josh), Cameron (Sofia), Dayna (Alex) and Ryan Miller, and Taylor Johnson. Special uncle to Sabrina and Alison Leigh.

Our family would like to offer special thanks to Gaylis, whose gentle care, steady presence and true affection for Bob meant so much to him and to us all.

Bob will forever be remembered in our hearts and will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew him.
