Passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 at the age of 85 from complications of surgery, in the company of his wife of 65 years June Johnston, daughter Corrine Johnston (Randy Wallace) and son Randy Johnston (Darlene). Adored by his only grandchild, Rebecca Johnston who holds dear her memories of exploring Toronto with her grandfather and their many other outings. Gordon was loved and will be dearly missed.

A private family celebration of life will be held.
