JONES, Dorothy Mary Jones

Our cherished mother, Dorothy Mary Jones, passed away peacefully surrounded by all of her children on January 22, 2026. Predeceased by her best friend and loving husband, Clayton Jones. Dorothy was born in 1934 in Toronto and upon marriage moved to Sarnia, where she and her husband lived a beautiful life. Together they were amazing parents to their five children. Dorothy will be forever remembered by her children and grandchildren for her wit, unconditional love and devotion to her family. Loving mother to Kyle and Sue Jones, Les Jones and Lucy, Penny and Darrin Robson, Lisa and Dave Northcott and Michelle and Paul Feltz. Adored Nan to Candice and Randy Fournier, Steven and Kayla Jones, Nick Jones, Dustin and Lindsay Robson, Corey and Macy Robson, Ryan and Brittany Northcott, Mark and Beth Northcott, Coulter Feltz and Val Watson, Mack Feltz and Lauren Luxton. Great Nan to Alan and Madelaine Jones, Addison and Tristan Fournier, Milo and Scottie Northcott. She is survived by her brother, Bruce Coulter and sister-in-law, Jackie Coulter, and will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. As per Dorothy’s wishes a private service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on January 30, 2026. The family welcomes friends and family to a celebration of Dorothy’s life at the Sarnia Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62, at 286 Front Street North on January 30, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. To honour Dorothy’s memory, donations may be made to That Girl’s Got Moxie and the Sarnia and District Humane Society.
