It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Anne (Kennedy) Jones, who entered into rest with her family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the age of 71 years.

Beloved wife of Harry Jones. Loving mother of Kristen Nihmey (Phillip) and Mark Jones (Sarah). Cherished Grammy of Camden and Morganne Jones, and Hugo and Francis Nihmey.

Dear sister of Colleen Chornie (the late Stephen), Terry Kennedy (the late Shelley), and Kevin Kennedy. Karen is survived by her mother-in-law Ruth Jones (the late James), sister-in-law Jennifer Belanger (Brian), and many adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Edna (Saddlemire) Kennedy.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Barclay Chapel on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date.
