Peacefully and with grace, surrounded by her loving family, at Hospice Quinte in her 98th year. Pre-deceased by Aubrey, her devoted husband of 66 years and son Stephen. Lovingly remembered by her children: Margaret (Frank), Michael (Laura) and Breigh (Barry).

Cherished grandmother to: Lyndsey, Daisy, Lauren, Graham, Calum, Molly, Charlotte, Romy and Charlie. Proud GG of Meghan and Ainsley.

Pre-deceased by her siblings in Scotland: Nan, Jim, Mary, John and Patricia. Held in great esteem by her many nieces and nephews in the UK.

Margaret enjoyed a career in administration at Scotland’s Forestry Commission and the Toronto Police Service and was a long term volunteer in the Emergency Department of Lakeridge Health, Oshawa.

She will be remembered for her kindness, sharp wit, insistence on correct spelling and posture as well as the occasional Bailey’s.

The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the Brighton Retirement Living staff, Dr. Gow and the Hospice Quinte team for their compassionate care and support.

Donations to Hospice Quinte in Margaret’s memory would be appreciated.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
