It is with sadness that the family of Sharon Jones (née Hurd) announces her peaceful passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the age of 80.

Beloved daughter of the late Aubrey and Agatha Hurd (née Molineux), Sharon was predeceased by her husbands, Léo Savard and Roland Jones. Loving mother to Wayne Jones (Mélanie), Aaron Savard (Minerva), Shari Larose (Don), Robin Larose (Ronald), and Dana Savard.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sharon is also survived by her brother Ray Hurd (Sue), and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Rosemary Robertson, Earl Hurd, Ernie Hurd, Margaritte Hurd, and Glen Hurd.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Cremation services have been provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
