DeLIMA, Jose Mateus  – Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital on October 1, 2015 in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of Maria De Lourdes for 63 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Anibal, Al (Pauline), Joe (Frances), Heather and Lourdes. Loving grandfather of Nellie (Vito), Brianna (Craig), Brandon, Lucas, Nicholas and Victoria. Dear great-grandfather of Scarlet.

Beloved son of the late Joao DeLima and the late Carolina Das Neves. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Alvaro and Maria Silva and the late Joao and the late Mary Jo DeLima. Cherished uncle of Debbie DaSilva. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the 7th floor, Mary Grace Wing, at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their  care and compassion.

Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL,  43 Barton St. E. (near James St.) Hamilton, ON on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Sunday at 8 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Church on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.
