JOSEPH, Gerald James Joseph

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 84.

Survived by his wife Eliner Ann. Father of Jerry (Michele), Terry (Michelle) and Michael (Laurie). Grandfather of Lucas Joseph (Jessica), Emily Joseph (Aaron Towell), Tara McAuley (Darcy), Hunter Marsden (Shane) and Bryant Joseph (Anaka). Great grandfather of Lucas Joseph, Nova Joseph, Aaron Towell, Addison, Braelyn and Claira McAuley, Oakley Marsden and Lennon Joseph.

Predeceased by his parents Sam and Edythe Joseph. Brother of the late Lynette ‘Netty’ Rouse (August), Danny (late Arlene), Muriel Steudenmayer (late Bob), late Samlee Nickle (late Bob), Lorraine (Ainy) Ralph, late Murray (Audrey) and Judith Holley (Lorrie). Brother-in-law of Deina Rouse (late Norman), Jack Simon (late Sharron), late George Simpson (late Cathy), Cindy Brideaux (Ron) and Bob Simpson (Cathy). Gerald was loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Gerald had a full life. He was a logger and trucker and enjoyed fishing and camping at Ranger Lake with his wife Eliner, as well as many friends and family over the years. He was a very dedicated husband and visited Eliner daily at the F. J. Davey Home. Gerald’s daily phone calls to his boys will be greatly missed.

As per Gerald’s request, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
