McCAVENEY, Joseph J.   –  Passed away peacefully, at Niagara Health Welland on April 17, 2023.

Joe was 90 years old. Beloved husband to Mae (Blayone) for almost 54 years.

Cherished father to Gordon (the late Grace), Michele (Paul) Holden, Joe Jr. (Susan); and predeceased by his wife and son, Sean.

Special grandpa to Shane, Cody, Kali, Malachi, Ezra, Sarah, Naomi and Michele; and great-grandpa to Landon, Hudson, Remi, Colton and Xander. 

Joe will be fondly remembered by his family He will also be sadly missed by his former daughter-in-law, Diane.

Also predeceased by his siblings, John, Theresa, Mary, Agnes and Ray; and his parents, William and Theresa (Duffin) McCaveney. In keeping with Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A private family interment will take place in Burlington at a later date.

Memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation will be appreciated by his family.
