TINDALE, Joyce Lillian Tindale

TINDALE, Joyce Lillian (nee GOLDIE)  –  We are saddened to announce the passing of Joyce Lillian Tindale (née Goldie), of Mississauga, Ontario, on July 31, 2023.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved her role as a great-grandmother. Her unwavering dedication to her family will be forever missed.

Joyce was born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 14, 1931, to James and Lillian Goldie. She married the love of her life, Thomas John Tindale, in 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, who preceded her in death in 2001.

She is survived by her sister, Lois Oliver of Brantford, Ontario; her daughter, Deb Ramsay of Peterborough, Ontario; her son, Mark Tindale (Brenda) of Peterborough, Ontario; and daughter, Diana Vincent (Greg) of Sacramento, California.

Also survived by her grandchildren: Kate McInnes (Mark), Matt Tindale (Julia), Ryan Vincent (Karlee), Hailey Vincent (Katelyn), Kenna Huff (Matt), and Heather Smith; along with seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

A private gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trillium Health Partners Foundation.

Joyce always said how lucky she was to have her family, but it was her family that are the lucky ones. May her legacy of love continue to grow in all the lives she has touched.
