JURILJ, Nikola ‘Nick’ – With sad hearts, we announce that Nick has left us on October 7, 2015 at the age of 88 with his loved ones at his side.

He will be sadly missed by his family, his wife of 63 years, Mary (Zitta) Jurilj, two sons Anthony (Heidi) & Frank (Pam). He had 5 Grandchildren Laura, Danny (Allison), Mike (Laura), Alexander, and Miranda. He also had 5 Great-Grandchildren, Aspyn, Phoenix, Brooklynn, Keira, & Luca.

In Canada, he leaves Sister-in-Law Anne Orct (recently deceased Lloyd) and Nephew John Orct, Niece Barb (Gord) Smith (Lloyd & Matthew), Nephew William (Milena) Orct (Branden & Ryan), Niece Vinka (Steve) Gojermac (George), Niece Drinka (Mike) Bogovic (Marianne & Diane).

In Croatia, he leaves his sister Marica J. In Hercegovina he has a large family. Marinko, Nick, Ivica Jurilj and families. Too many to mention. He survived his siblings Manda, Jozo, Slavo, and Luca. He loved life and family. Not necessarily in that order. He and many friends here in Sarnia, Toronto, Hercegovina and all over the world. Thank you all.

Visitation will be held this Friday, October 9th from 7-9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line in Sarnia, Ontario.

A Saturday visitation will precede Services from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home.  The Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 566 Rosedale Avenue in Sarnia. This will be followed by interment.

Special thanks to all the doctors and staff at Bluewater Health and the London Cancer Clinic.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nick may be made to The Bluewater Health Foundation.
