KEAN, John Robert Kean

It is with tearful hearts we announce the passing of John Robert Kean at Fairfield Park Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the age of 74.

He was the son of the late Douglas & Velma (nee Narroway).

Dear brother of Sharon Kean (Walter), Doug Kean (Irma), & Debbie Raymondo (Steve).

Proud uncle of Steven O’Rourke, Shanesya Kean (Robert Renshaw), Tanya Kean, & Julie Raymondo (Mike).

Great-uncle of Adia, Arianna, Isabel & McKenna.

John retired from Navistar after 30+ years of dedicated service in the Payroll Department. He is a lifelong golfer, starting as a Caddy at Essex Golf & Country Club in Windsor and enjoyed spending time golfing at the Links of Kent. John also loved to play Euchre with his friends.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at The Maples and more recently at Fairfield Park for their kindness and compassionate care.

Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, December 8, 2025. Cremation and Interment has already taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Chatham-Kent, Pet and Wildlife Rescue or a charity of your choice.
