Donna Joyce Kennedy (née Lawson) passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on April 1, 2025, with her family by her side, at the age of 85.

Cherished mother of David, Dan, Diane (Jeff) Hoskin, Doug (Kathy), and Darryl. Loving Nana to Mike (Kristen), Justin, and Brandon Hoskin. Donna was predeceased by her beloved parents Wes and Jennie Lawson, and her husband Michael Kennedy, the love of her life. She was also predeceased by her sisters Pearl Darling, Betty Rae, and Joan Tackaberry, and her brothers Ferman, Hayden, Herb, and Joe Lawson.

Donna was one of ten children and will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Tom and Gary (Mary) Lawson and brother-in-law George Tackaberry. She was loved by many and will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, in the Chapel at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior. Immediately following the service, a light luncheon will be offered, followed by interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.
