Hunter KenHUNTER, Kenneth Morton – Peacefully in hospital on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the age of 87 years.

Kenneth Hunter, dearly loved husband of the late Eileen Hunter (nee Jones).

Dear brother of the late Isobel Wooldridge (David), the late Rebecca McLeod (late Norman), Douglas Hunter (late Beryl) and the late Rosemary Ellen (infant).

Dear uncle to Ann McDermid (Neil), Margaret Lavictoire (Richard), Janet Hunter (Jean-Luc Charron), Peter Hunter, Bill Hunter and Laura Hunter (Mike McCormick). Dear uncle to Eileen Patterson (Leo) and great-uncle to Maureen Reid, Richard Beaugie and June McNabb.  Fondly remembered by grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and many friends.

A graduate of Kemptville College and Ontario Agricultural College, Ken enjoyed a long and varied career with Agriculture Canada and working at the family farm in Morewood. He was active in community groups such as the Dalhousie Food Cupboard,

and as a member of Bell Street United and Centertown United churches.

Friends and family are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Tuesday, December 29th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 30th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment in the spring.
