KENT, Herkimer Herk Kent

Entered into rest at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital, Napanee on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 at the age of 71.  He is survived by his beloved spouse Diane Burton. Cherished father of Michelle Kent, Micheal Kent (Helen), and Jesse Tyner. Stepfather to Charlie Sooley (Melissa), Jennifer McFarlane (Bill), David Burton (Jordan). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Dalton Davis, Selena Fuller, Jaime Leigh Haig, Scott Haig, Charles & Brooklyn Sooley, Isabelle & Madison McFarlane, and Amelia Burton. Great grandchildren Wyatt and  Hailey Davis, Gavin Johnson and Gracen Flicks.  Survived by his sister’s and brothers Linda Alkenbrack (Dale), Jack Kent (Donna), Cindy Wales, Kelly Brooks (Greg), and Tony Kent (Pam). Predeceased by his parents Barb & Bernard Kent and his brother Joe Kent (Judy). He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. There will be a Celebration of Herk’s Life held on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Selby United Church (153 Pleasant Drive, Selby, ON) from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.
