KEUHL, John Robert Keuhl

With family by his side, John passed peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the age of 57 years.

John Keuhl Jr. of Rankin was the dear husband and best friend of 34 years to Darlene Keuhl (née Lautsch), and the loving and caring dad to Emily Hein (husband Andrew), Megan Keuhl (partner Drew), and Alma Keuhl.

He was a proud and devoted “Papa” to Logan and Olivia Hein.

Son of Linda Keuhl (née Hoffman) and the late John Keuhl Sr. Brother to Bobby Keuhl (wife Melanie), and uncle to B.J. and Colton Keuhl (wife Kristin). Fondly remembered by his many cousins and friends who were like family.

He also leaves behind his two very special dogs, Moses and Bell, who will dearly miss their snuggles and extra treats.

John’s presence will be deeply missed at every holiday, birthday, trip, and daily check-in. His family will cherish his memory and the love he gave so freely.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m.

A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
