KIESEKAMP, Eliza Margaretha Kiesekamp

It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Eliza Kiesekamp, who went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2025, in Bowmanville, Ontario. Eliza was born on January 20, 1937, in Den Haag, Holland, she lived a long, full life shaped by resilience, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Eliza is survived by her two loving daughters, Liza Kiesekamp and Esther Sawyer, her two cherished grandsons, Justin Sawyer, Benjamin Sawyer and her four precious great-grandchildren – Evan Sawyer, Nolan Sawyer, Conor Maynes-Sawyer and Aleida Sawyer – each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She also leaves behind the beloved children of her twin sisters Coby & Cory who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Hilmar, her parents Hendrik & Gijsbertje, her brother, and twin sisters, all of whom she missed deeply. After their passing, the love she shared with those around her created a family circle held together by warmth, humour, and unwavering support.

A woman of strong faith, she lived her life guided by her trust in God. She found joy in the simple things—hours spent sewing, the comfort of a good book, the quiet satisfaction of completing a puzzle, walking by the waterfront and the thrill of discovering hidden treasures while thrifting. Her creativity, curiosity, and gentle spirit made her home a place of comfort and welcome for all who visited.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her patience, and the quiet strength that carried her through life’s many seasons. Her legacy lives on in the generations who follow her, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

She is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
