KLASAN, Peter Klasan

Passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Wednesday December 31, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 86th year.

Beloved husband of Joan (nee: Stepinec) for 58 wonderful years. Loving dad of Diane McGill (Ray) & Karen Miller (Alan). Cherished grandpa of Raymond & Molly, and Catherine (Brandon) & Stephen. Dear brother of Mary Anne Mitchell (Frederick). Peter will also be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Stephen (Joan), sister-in-law Theresa (Don), niece and nephews Roland & Jenna, and David.

Peter was a loyal General Motors employee for 42.3 years. He spent his life enjoying the outdoors and times with friends and family. Filling his time with activities like hunting, downhill skiing, travelling the world through cruises, and of course many trips to the cottage. He loved bowling, card games like euchre and cribbage to name a few, and we will never forget his love for the turner classic movies, John Wayne being one of his favorites. Peter was also a proud member of the Hasty P. Regimental association in Belleville, as well as the 420 Wing at the Oshawa Airport.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the ICU and 9G at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa, for the loving care they provided.

Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa for the funeral service on Monday January 5th at 1:00 pm. Visitation to take place one hour prior to service time, starting at 12:00 pm.
