KLASSEN , Marion Joan (née Alford) Klassen

It is with both sadness and relief that we announce the passing of Marion Klassen, who almost reached her 99th year, demonstrating courage at every turn. Marion passed away at the Sprucedale Care Centre in Strathroy, ON, having been lovingly attended by the staff there for the past 14 years.

Marion leaves behind her daughter Kathryn, her son Kenneth (Sylvia), three grandchildren: Timothy (Tina), Daniel, and Hannah (David), and three great-grandchildren: Tatum, Rue, and Sonny Baker. She is also survived by her beloved sister Althea Lamperd and her sister-in-law Bonnie Lofgren.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter and her younger brother Graham.

Having lived a full, adventurous, and faith-filled life, she now enters her eternal reward with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

A funeral service to celebrate Marion’s life will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior from 9:00–10:00 a.m. For those unable to attend the service, a livestream has been set up.

The family invites everyone to join them for a reception following the service. Interment will follow the reception at Woodland Cemetery.
