KLEMP, Katrina Marie Klemp

With heavy hearts, the family of Katrina Marie Klemp (Kat) announce her peaceful passing, surrounded by love, on Monday, February 23, 2026, in her 43rd year.

Cancer may have taken her far too soon, but it never diminished her spirit. Even in the face of the unimaginable, Katrina met each day with grace, courage, humour, and quiet strength. She reminded all of us that life is precious and what it meant to live life fully.

Katrina shared a beautiful life with her loving and devoted partner, Justin Weishar, and was an extraordinary mother to their cherished daughter, Parker. Together they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and deep love. The kind of life many hope for, and few are lucky enough to experience so fully.

She is the beloved daughter of Keith and Heather Klemp of Listowel, and dear daughter-in-law of Joe and Brenda Weishar, of Listowel.

She was a loving sister and best friend to Jenn and Gary Martin of Elmira, Jeff and Carrie Klemp of Teviotdale, and sister-in-law to Erin and Jon Soltys of Listowel.

She was a proud and adoring Aunt to Kinsley, Porter, Madeline, Elizabeth, Connor, Claire, and Natalie.

Katrina was more than a devoted partner, mother, daughter, sister, and friend – she was a pillar in her community. She was a dedicated teacher and passionate coach, and she poured herself into the lives of her students and athletes, offering encouragement, positivity and steady guidance. She was respected and deeply loved by her colleagues, teammates, and friends. She will be remembered by her laughter and quick wit that invited you in and left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her medical team and specifically to Adriana Muis and Dr. Barb Matthews for the dedicated and compassionate care they provided throughout her journey. Their support brought comfort not only to Katrina, but to all who stood beside her.

Katrina will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and community will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.

A private family funeral service will be held.

Please join her family in sharing stories and memories during the Celebration of Her Life, anytime between 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Listowel Golf Club.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
