David Grant Kluey passed away at his home in Newmarket, Ont. at the age of 84 on May 9,
2025 with family by his side.

Beloved husband of Janice (Fanning), loving father of Bruce and Shara (Mark) and dear
stepfather to Shawn, Kevin and Rianna. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Grace, June,
Kadyn and Seth. Predeceased by parents Grant and Helen (Jackson), brothers Sean and
Barry. Also fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

David was born in Orillia and raised on the Canadian Air Force Base Rockcliffe in Ottawa. He
joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1957 for four years and started working as a boiler
service technician in 1965. In the early 1970’s he began working as a Canadian sales
representative for Fulton Boiler out of Pulaski, N.Y. and continued to work with them for over 40
years. In 1975 he founded Thermogenics Inc. until he sold his partnership in 1992.

David was passionate about the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, driving stock cars, and
flying in the Comet, Concord, and Vampire planes.
