He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Knelsen and Susanna Knelsen (Blatz) of Port Rowan; and his siblings, Susan Wiens (Peter), Maria Knelsen, Jacob Knelsen (Justina), David Knelsen (Anna), Frank Knelsen (Eva), Margaret Woelke (Ben) and Joseph Knelsen. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Reinland Mennonite Church (51979 Glencolin Line, Aylmer, ON N5H2R3).
