KOVACS, James Kovacs

Passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday November 30, 2025. Jimmy Kovacs, of Brantford, in his 90th year. Treasured Dad of Nancy Kovacs (Morgan Sainsbury) and Cyndy (Geoff) Millo. Proud NagyPapa of Paxton, Avery, Gavin and Jordyn. Dear brother of Gyula (Sharon) Kovacs. Predeceased by his sister Maggie and brother Kalman. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his many family and friends in both Hungary and Canada.

Jimmy was born in Poloske, Hungary (Province of Zala), immigrated to Canada in 1956 and never left. He worked at Bluebird as a welder for over 30 years and was a dedicated member of the Brant Rod and Gun Club as well as the Brantford Hungarian Club where he loved to dance the Csardas. Jimmy will be remembered for his incredible charm and humour.
