In loving memory of Jack (Jacobus) Kroft, who passed away in Sudbury on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at the age of 69. Son of the late Adrian Kroft and the late Magdalena Kroft (née Droogh). Beloved husband of Bonnie Kroft (née Robinson). Cherished father of Kenneth Kroft (Amanda) and Marlena Kroft (Josh).

Jack will be deeply missed by his favorite grandson, Jack Kroft, with whom he shared countless joyful moments. He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters, and was predeceased by one brother. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Known lovingly as “Opa,” Jack retired after a long and fulfilling career at Vale Inco. A selfless and kind-hearted man, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He treasured time with family and loved the outdoors—enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping.

He shared a deep bond with his grandson Little Jack, and they loved biking together. Jack was also passionate about winemaking, coin collecting, and gardening. He especially enjoyed picking blueberries with his wife, Bonnie (Oma).

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury, and Crystal Crematorium.
