KUEPFER, Melvin Jacob KUEPFER

Went peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Peaceful Meadows, Brunner. Born 86 years ago in Mornington Township, a son of the late John and Katie (Lichti) Kuepfer.

Melvin will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Amy (Gerber) Kuepfer. Cherished father of John (Miriam) Kuepfer, Rhoda (Jonathan) Stoll, Edith (Leighton)Zook, and Andrew Kuepfer. Loving Grandfather of Jessica (Mark), Megan, Christopher, Nathan (Abby), Cheyanne (Kyrell), Ashley (Mervin), Amy (Dale), Austin (Victoria), Aubrey, Adrian, Aaron, Zarielle, Harmony-Elizabeth, Verity-Jane, Amarantha, Keturah, and great-grandfather of Felix, Carter, Denika, Jax, Prince, Grant, Clara, Eric, and Tanner. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Mary Jantzi and Norma Mast, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Norma Kuepfer, Enos (Reta) Gerber, Nick (Emma) Gerber, Erma Gerber, Shirley (Larry) Gerber, David (Marilyn) Gerber, and by his many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his granddaughter Jolene, brother Mervin Kuepfer, Floyd (Laurene) Kuepfer, Jack (Katie) Kuepfer, Leonard Jantzi, Elmer Mast, Marie (Ivan) Jantzi, Kathryn (Willis) Kuepfer, Arthur (Laurene) Gerber, Stanley Gerber, Margaret (Raymond) Wagler, and Gordon Gerber.

Melvin was a longtime member of Donegal Mennonite Fellowship. He farmed in Mornington Township his entire life and was involved with Prison Ministries for more than 30 years, a devotion that was dear to his heart. After the farm Melvin truly enjoyed taking care of his property in Millbank until his move to Peaceful Meadows, Brunner.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Donegal Mennonite Fellowship, 7021 Perth County Road 147, Listowel, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Donegal Mennonite Fellowship with interment to follow in Mount Zion Cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow the interment at Perth East Recreational Complex, Milverton. For those unable to attend the service will be available via livestream.
