KUIK, Anne Maria Van Kuik

Loving Mother of John, Ginny Whorms (Hal), Steve and Liza McCutcheon (Craig). Cherished Oma of Alexandria, Aryanna, William, Claude and Malcolm. Dear sister of Mary, late John, late Peter, Christina, late Theresa, Johanna, Henrietta and Margaret. Predeceased by her parents Regina (Hofmans) and William Beelen.

Fun loving and devoted to her family, she created many cherished family days, even on the ski slopes after she learned to ski mid-life. After immigrating from the Netherlands, she became a proud Canadian citizen. Anne loved to putter in her backyard and gardens. Being very independent, she could be seen walking the streets of Whitby with her purchases in hand. She enjoyed a good cribbage challenge and the excitement the slot machines at any and all casinos. Family was important to Anne and she would attend any celebration or gathering for both immediate or extended family. Anne had a loving relationship with all of her sisters. She cared deeply for her family and treasured her time with her children and grandchildren. Anne will be dearly missed.

Visitation is Monday December 8th, from 10:00 am until time of service in the Barnes chapel Monday at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
