KUMAR, Vijaya Kumar

Passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025. He was born in Bangalore, India on October 10, 1940. Predeceased by his parents Pillappa and Saraswathi, he is lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Manjula; daughter, Navina; sisters, Rajeswari and Nagu; brother, Sheshu; nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and wide circle of friends.

Vijaya was a civil engineer who retired after a fulfilling career at Case Labs and Camosun College. A curious and adventurous spirit, he was an avid traveler and had a deep appreciation for classical music. He had friendships that spanned decades and continents.

Extended thanks to Adrian and Dr. Maxwell for their compassionate care of Vijaya.

The family intends to hold a service at a later date.
