LACHANCE, Diane Savage-Lachance (née Paul)

A resident of Chatham, Diane Savage-Lachance passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at the age of 70.

Daughter of Noël Paul and the late Georgette Gilette (née Charron). Loving mother of Sean Savage and proud grandmother of Mayelle Savage, Alisha Lachance, Kyezaiah Coles, Sadie Lachance, Bianka Maheu-Chauvin, Katrina Maheu-Chauvin, and Ethan Blank.

Cherished stepmother to Caroline Maheu and Stephanie Maheu. Remembered by her brothers Denis Paul and Yves Paul (Marie-Claude), and sisters Huguette Bennett and Sarina Cloutier. Diane will also be deeply missed by her loving partner, Norm Lachance, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Diane was the proud owner of ADS Cleaning Services and also worked as a waitress at the Central Tavern in Pain Court and as a housekeeper at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Known for her energy, warmth, and devotion to family, Diane brought light and joy to every space she entered. Her grandchildren were truly the light of her life.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Words of Remembrance will begin at 3:30 p.m.
