LAFORET, Laurent Raymond “Larry” Laforet

We bid farewell to Laurent Raymond Laforet of Grand Bend, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 8, 2026 at the age of 83. Laurent touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Roland Laforet (Rose) of Tecumseh; and his parents, Raymond Laforet and Laura Laforet (Cecile). He is survived by: his wife Mary Laforet (McGill); and his siblings, Margaret Rocheleau (late Leo) of Tecumseh, Paul Laforet (Carol) of Lakeshore, Bob Laforet (Betty) of Windsor, Pat Gleason (late Bob) of Sarnia and Bernie Orrange (late Jack) of Sarnia. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church (337 Ontario St S, Grand Bend, ON N0M1T0).

In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable directly) a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and please raise a glass to Larry for a life well lived.
