LAFORGE, Aime Laforge

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grand-father, Aime Laforge at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife, Denise. His children, Therese Mazerolle, Michel Laforge (Claudette), Francine Laforge, Jaqueline (Ed) Polonji and Francois (Jo-Anne) Laforge. Predeceased by his daughter Noella Armstrong. He is survived by his grand-children, Shane Mazerolle from Timmins, Moranda Leclair (Justin Stelling) from Toronto, Melissa from Ottawa, Serge Caron Jr. Lizanne Dubien, Christopher Laforge (Davida Leonard) and Luka Polonji (Samantha Proulx) all from Timmins

Aime was predeceased by his father, Joseph and mother Elizabeth (Charbonneau) Laforge. He is also predeceased by his siblings: Roland, Helene, Jeannine, Denise, Marcel, Marie-Ange, Rene, Gerald and Pauline.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Extendicare especially the Mattagami unit for their exceptional care of our dad. We would also like to thank the nurses at the Hospice at the Timmins & District Hospital for their care and compassion for the short time he as there.

As per his wishes, cremation will take place. The funeral will be held on October 1, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Dominique Parish. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. The interment will be held in Ramore at a later date. In memory of Aime, donation to the Resident Council – Extendicare Timmins would be greatly appreciated.
