It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Joe, on December 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Reunited with the love of his life , his wife and best friend Patricia “Patsy”(2021), of 57 years. Loving father of Marylynn Holzel (John), Mikalynn Parlette (Mike), Jeff Laframboise (Karrie) and Jason Laframboise (Jodie). Precious Pipi and Papa Joe of Tally Holzel (Octavian), Ryan Holzel (Kennedy) the late Holly Holzel, Beau Parlette (Sabrina), Jake Parlette (Jill),Luke Parlette (Jenna), Zak Parlette (Laura), Josh Laframboise (Dayna), T.J Laframboise (Csengele), Alex Laframboise (Cam) and Abby Laframboise (Kyle). Proud great-Pipi of Hutch, Heath, Phoenix, Kimora and Oliver. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Marion Laframboise.
Loved brother of Marie Bondy (late Ron), late Beatrice Pouget (late Murray).
Dear brother-in-law of the late Lorraine Reimneitz, late Madeline Market (late Al), Marguerite Rexer (late Werner), late Bernice McCutcheon, late Pearl Reaume (Gene), Gene Bastien (Robin) predeceased by Connie. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Joe owned two businesses in town. The first being J& R Sports and the second his Real Estate Company. They both kept him in close contact with the people in town. He also coached baseball and hockey. Joe will be remembered by his love for hockey, food, his community and mostly the love for his family.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 12-3pm and 5-8pm. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, family and friends are invited to meet after 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
