Passed away with family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the age of 56.

Beloved wife of Gottfried Zehnder and cherished mother of Carlene Lalande. Loving daughter of Candace (Resmer) and Rudy Tobler. Predeceased by her father, Hector Lalande.

Shauna will be deeply missed by her sisters Tracy (Chris), Leah (Steve), Lisa, and Brianne (Blair), as well as her nieces and nephews: Noah, Eric, Daniel, Aubrey, and Ellis. She was also predeceased by her grandparents Sylvester and Marjorie Resmer, and Hector and Antoinette Lalande.

Shauna was a passionate, protective, and loving woman who cherished her family and friends. She was gifted in the arts, especially painting and wood burning, and found peace in nature—camping, fishing, and exploring trails on her four-wheeler.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Shauna’s life will be held at a later date.

If desired, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be greatly appreciated by her family.
