LANDEN, John Landen

Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Born in Owen Sound on January 16, 1951. John Foster Landen of Owen Sound was in his 75th year.

Beloved husband of Berna Landen (nee Clugston). Loving father of Andy Landen (Candace) of Glendale, California and Jesse Landen of Toronto. Cherished grandpa of Elise and Everett. Dear brother of Wayne (Rita) and brother-in-law of Kathryn Hewgill (Ray), Wayne Clugston (Linda), Ken Clugston (Louise), Lynda Adams (Don) and Brenda Adams (Jim). John will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents John and Dorothy Landen.

A memorial service to celebrate John’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 3 p.m., with visitation from 1 – 2:45 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, livestreaming will be available through the funeral home website, followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 6 Owen Sound, from 4 – 7 p.m.
