LANDER , Malcolm Alan Lander

We are sad to announce the passing of Malcolm Alan Lander in the early hours of June 20, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in London, UK, just prior to the outbreak of war, Malcolm’s earliest years were marked by the hardship and upheaval of wartime life.

In 1963, Malcolm married Anne Theodora Bonner, also of London, UK. They immigrated to Canada in 1966, settling first in Toronto before making Milton, Oak Ridges, and later Puslinch their home. They most recently resided at Chartwell Wellington Park in Guelph.

Malcolm and Anne created a life filled with deep friendships, faith, and community. He was an active member of Coldstream Presbyterian Church in Toronto, Knox Presbyterian Church in Milton, and squash clubs in Milton and Richmond Hill.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Anne, sons Andrew (Suzanne) and Geoff (Lee), grandchildren Shai (Danny), Conner, Cayne, Gavin, and Sean, and great-grandchildren Barrett and Baylor. He is also mourned by sisters Glenys and Connie, nieces, nephews, and extended family in the UK and abroad.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aphasia Institute or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at McKersie & Early Funeral Home.
