LARKIN , Robert “Bob” George Larkin

Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Waterloo Regional Health Network @ Chicopee, Kitchener, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Bob was born 86 years ago in Preston, Ontario, a son of the late Sidney George Larkin and the former Mary Viola Wismer.

Devoted husband to Jane Elizabeth (Beckner) Larkin whom he married on August 27, 2003. Bob will be missed by his sister Pat Tasker and her husband Dick, and by his niece Linda Tasker. Bob will remain in the hearts of his many cousins ​​and friends. Bob is now rejoicing with those who have gone before him.

Bob had various careers over his life. He was a store manager for Dominion, he worked Insurance for Canada Life and was a caring service manager for Canadian Tire. Bob enjoyed gardening, playing a competitive yet fun game of golf, and enjoyed coffee with his friends. His familiar smiling face will be missed by those visiting Union Cemetery in New Dundee, as Bob was the former cemetery caretaker and grounds keeper.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be planned for the near future and will be announced at that time.
